I was very happy to see Simon Pegg's character Benji and Jeremy Renner's character William Brandt have more screen time alongside Ving Rhames character Luther Stickell. The action scenes are unbelievably shot, but even the story provided both occasional comic relief and suspenseful thrills. Every scene with Ferguson's character Ilsa is magnetic because she kicks an insane amount of butt both alongside Ethan and even by herself. His likable co-stars Jeremy Renner, Ving Rhames, and Simon P egg return as William Brandt, Luther Stickell, and Benji Dunn, though its Rebecca Ferguson's character Ilsa Faust who stands out the most. Personally, I can't wait to see where his next mission takes him. I applaud his ability to perform a lot of his own stunts(considerably the highly dangerous ones), and his strong acting ability as well. Tom Cruise is once again engaging as Ethan Hunt. And Ethan Hunt soon finds himself a new threat, Solomon Lane.Įverything about Mission Impossible Rogue Nation is awesome. But I am a movie fanatic and primarily judge a film on its own merits not the package in which it comes. It is my pleasure to rate this film so highly as well as the outstanding quality of the merchandise lest I lead any of you to believe the case and disc were in any way flawed. It was a perfect mix I have only seen in more sophisticated films featuring actors of the highest distinction and flawless resumes. Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, and Alec Baldwin each bring their own unique style to th eir performances as well as the rest of the supporting cast members. Sean Harris portrays perhaps the best and most complex villain I have ever seen in a film and high marks for his makeup artist for making it impossible to guess how old he is. Superior marks to her costume designer especially for the outstanding and stunning dress she wears in the opera sequence. I can't say enough about Rebecca Ferguson, an outstanding British actor of such a high caliber she brings a reality to the film not seen in previous MI movies. All the actors play their respective roles with depth and conviction as well as a taste of humor in exactly the right places.
I have watched it dozens of times and never get tired of it.
